Stop!  Crossing Animals!

NES nostalgia
In animal crossing
you can get old NES games, including Mario Bros, Golf, Tennis, Donkey Kong and others. You can play them on GCN and the GBA. You can get games at four ways.
The first player who starts in a memory card will get 2 games with a postcard from Nintendo, this letter also includes a song track for your audio system at home.
At christmas you'll get a game.
On your birthday you get a game as well.
If you get 5 raffle tickets in Tom Nook's store you can get a game if you win the raffle.

Music Tracks
To get more Audio Tracks for your audio system at home, visit the Train Station on a Saturday at anytime between 8:00 P.M. and 11:59 P.M. and you will be able to meet K.K. Slider, the guitar playing dog that you see when you first start a file in the game.  Talk to him, and if you say you don't have a request, he'll play a random song from his library of some 50 songs and then give you the recording.  You can only get 1 song per week.  If you request a song in his library, you get the recording as usual, if you request one that isn't, you don't get a recording.

Christmas Anytime
To get an early Christmas, change the internal clock settings on the Nintendo Gamecube to the 25th of December and it will be Christmas.

Money Grows on Trees?!?!
During your travels in town, eventually you'll find a glowing spot in the ground, dig with your shovel (which you can buy from Tom Nook after you finish your part-time job) and you will find 1,000 Bells.  Now, before you fill up the hole, bury 100 Bells in the same glowing hole and in a few days you should find a money tree growing money for you.

Apollos Wake-up Time
Apollo wakes up at 10:00am.

Farming
Once in a Crossing, one of the villagers will offer to sell you a fruit that is not native to your town.  Buy it from them at all costs!  Next, get your shovel and find a nice area you pass through often, around Tom Nook's shop is good too.  Now, dig a hole with your shovel and bury the fruit.  In a few days you will get a tree with that fruit growing on it.  When the fruit is ready to pick, pick it and then bury the fruit that come off.  Repeat this and soon you will have an orchard of this fruit.  Now, whatever fruit is native to your town, in my case Cherry's, will sell for 100.  The fruit you bought off the person in your town will sell for 500, as will all foreign fruit.  In my case, I planted orchards of Pear Trees all around Tom Nook's shop.  So when it's harvest time, pick the fruit and sell 'em for 500 Bells each!  Now, at a rate of 3 fruit per tree at 500 Bells each over 3 days... ah do the math yourself, the point is, you will get rich quick.

Golden Shovel
Make sure you have 2 shovels before doing this.  Now, wander town until you find a glowing spot, only one will appear per day.  When you find it, dig it up, claim your 1,000 Bells, then bury one of your shovels.  A Golden Tree will sprout.  In about 4 days, it will grow into a full tree.  When it's fully grown, shake it and off comes the Golden Shovel.  While digging with it, you will dig up Bells every so often.  If you increase your money luck, you will start digging up more and more bells.

8000 bell Moon
On the night of the harvest moon (September 21) go and talk to the mayor. He will be along the river somewhere. He will give you a "Full Moon". Cash it in with Tom for 8000 bells! (only one moon per person)

Speedy Mail
Tired of waiting for your ordered mail from Nook? Just visit another town, go back home and check your mailbox.  There's your item!

Dupicate Items
What you need for this:
2 GBAs
Time(due to riding boat 6 times)
First hook up one GBA using the GCN/GBA cable, go to the Kapp'n at
the dock and ride to the island with the item(s) you want to dupicate.
On the island drop all items you wish to duplicate.  Go back to the Kapp'n and save the island to the first GBA.
Once you are back on the mainland unplug GBA 1 and plug in GBA 2 move up one screen then back down to the Kapp'n.  Use the GBA 2 to get to the island(if you use 1 it will not work).  On the island pick up all the items then head back to the mainland.Once back take the boat again using GBA 1 this time.  (It will load the island as it was before you took everything back.)  Take the items again and thats it!
You can duplicate anything even money(make money bags)

Shake the bees
If you happen to shake a tree and bees come after if you happen to have a umbrella and twirl it it will hit all the bees off.

Fish'n for money.
On your game if you have your fishing pole with you you have to go down to the ocean located at the bottom of your town you'll see fish figures throw your pole out and if you catch a "Barred knifejaw" he's worth $5,000 dollars. Or if you catch a "Red snapper" he'll be worth $3,000 dollars...But heed my words you need to release all the "Sea
bass" because they are worth only $120 dollars.
